Thrive Offices and Childhood Development Remodel

What was once a restaurant and grocery store in West Bozeman has been reimagined into headquarters for Thrive, an organization that helps children grow and succeed through mentorships and parent education. The 5,300-square-foot renovation of “the Red Chair Location” preserved the building’s unique character while adapting it to meet the needs of a growing non-profit. Structural renovations included infilling a second-level floor at the stair opening, adding an elevator for accessibility, and removing part of the east exterior wall to enclose the patio, creating a spacious conference room. The ground floor was transformed into flexible classrooms, training spaces, and meeting areas, while open office spaces were placed on the second floor. A thoughtful redesign of the outdoor areas included converting a former coffee drive-through into a playground. The result is a welcoming environment that enhances Thrive’s ability to support local children and families.
