Chris credits his social personality to being raised by Methodist minister parents. He naturally gravitates towards community building and fostering connections with new people—which suits him well as the Director of 45 Architecture’s Nashville office. As Chris grows the firm's presence in the Music City, creating positive community impact, he embraces concept design and high level visioning. 

Before joining 45, Chris ran his own architectural firm in Portland, Oregon, where he refined his leadership style as someone who celebrates and elevates the collective intelligence of a team. Trust is a central tenet, he said, knowing that the best solutions often come from those who have boots on the ground.

Nashville is the perfect locale for this music-loving architect. Chris spends his weekends exploring the local music scene, from bluegrass to rock.
